Brentwood is located at the base of Nose Hill Park and abuts
the communities of Dalhousie, Triwood and Varsity. This northwestern community
was established in 1960 with the dominant form of development being single
family detached housing. The gently sloping topography of this area provides
views in a number of locations. Brentwood is within close proximity to the
University of Calgary and the pathway. In addition, major transportation routes
including Crowchild Trail and John Laurie Boulevard, as well as the L.R.T.
system, are conveniently located for use by Brentwood residents.
